Marcos always knew being a hairdresser was what he wanted to do! A week after he Graduated from High School he didn’t waste any time starting cosmetology school! He went on to work at Toni & Guy for over 25 years where he got his advanced education in Haircuts and styling. He loves what he does and loves to make every client get the best look that works with each and every client from short haircuts to long haircuts! He will make sure you look and feel amazing when you leave the salon! He is so excited to now work with The Gabriel Ontiveros Salon where he and the salon teams help you look fabulous!!

TERRANCE THOMAS
Creative Director / Hairstylist

Terrance discovered early on that he had a passion for changing lives through the art of doing hair. He received his education at Toni & Guy and became a licensed cosmetologist in 2009. Since then, he has continued his passion for all things hair, engrossing himself in ongoing education for all hair types. In 2011 Terrance sought to have a deeper impact in his field and added teaching to his resume. He enjoys bringing his clients’ desired looks to fruition, as well as teaching others the ins and outs of healthy hair. Terrance has over a decade of experience in the industry and finds true joy in applying his gifts.

I have been a fan of hair since I was a little girl. I have always been the personal stylist of the family. I’ve had the opportunity of working in Hollywood. I have been in the industry for two decades now. When I get behind the chair I am definitely in my zone. I love making the world a beautiful place and touching hearts!!

SYDNEY NGUYEN
Premier Stylist / Hairstylist

Sydney participated in theatre hair and makeup all 4 years of high school which helped her find her passion for the beauty industry, she began her hair journey in 2020 as she attended OGLE school where she obtained her cosmetology license, afterwards she continued her education at the Gabriel Ontiveros Salon, under Terrance as her mentor. Sydney is a premier stylist, specializing in haircuts, style outs, as well as updos, and makeup.

GABRIEL ONTIVEROS
Technical Creative Director / Owner

With over 27 years of inspiring new color trends, and creating educational programs, Gabriel is at the forefront of the international hairdressing industry. Gabriel is a member of the international technical team and is involved with creating training videos and step-by-step collections. Gabriel has established himself as a reputable hair colorist in the industry.

AMBER SMITH
Technical Creative Director / Owner

Amber was born and raised in Texas. Amber is a custom color specialist and makes custom halo extensions. She is committed to her passion for hair color and continuing her education in the industry to keep growing while doing what she loves to keep her motivated to give the top bar experience to all new clients, as well as her loyal clientele. Amber started as an apprentice under Gabriel Ontiveros, as her mentor and educator. Her hard work, love, and commitment to the industry for 11 years allowed her the opportunity of growth, to become a co-owner of the Gabriel Ontiveros Salon.

Amber has a strong vision for the Gabriel Ontiveros Salon and is committed to raising the bar by her P.R., marketing skills, and bringing the community together to combine cutting-edge ideas. Her creative mind is always thinking about what’s next, and what new can she bring to the salon and hair experience. As well as always being eager to learn and continue her education with her passion for doing hair, she is also committed to being a leader for her team to continue to grow and stay inspired. Her caring heart loves helping to motivate her team to help them individually exceed their goals.
